  I have visited L'Esquina three times, and each time I am amazed at how relaxed and welcome I feel as soon as I arrive. The property is beautifully furnished and well kept, with wonderfully comfortable beds and linens. Multiple private terraces and decks provide a lovely indoor/ outdoor lifestyle, and make the property ideal for families or up to three couples. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, with a patio exit, providing private space in addition to ample space to entertain and enjoy cooking or a movie. There are multiple world class restaurants within walking distance, or you can watch the sunset from the roof deck, then enjoy cooking at home in the open kitchen or barbeque - everything you need to cook is there (pots, pans, utensils, etc), and there is a large supermarket in town or a small market down the street). Dining tables both inside and outside on the patio provide romantic candlelight dinner options. The cobalt blue tile hot tub is heaven, nestled underneath a large tree that is home to a friedly iguana! With a private beach across the street and downtown Tamarindo a short walk away (you will pass monkeys relaxing in the trees on the way), the property is ideally located. It is easy to walk to town and more crowded beaches and bars/nightclubs if you are looking for a social scene, yet the property is very quite and peaceful. I highly recommend this location and will stay there again! This last trip, monkeys were in the large tree right off the balcony.

  We had a group of friends stay here and had a wonderful time. The penthouse condo was huge and we found ourselves staying here much more than we anticipated. We really enjoyed the large patio (can hear the waves crash from it) with a jaccuzzi (not heated). Sadly it was our last day there that we realized the top of the condo has a fantastic observation area to stare at the sunset, ocean, stars, whatever.
  
  For the property, security is there 24/7, the pool in the back was really nice (long enough for lap swimming), and overall was very clean!
